Who is Pershing?

Pershing S.p.a. has been designing, producing and marketing luxury motor yachts for over 25 years, and now boasts a firm position as one of the leading names in the  Made in Italy  fibreglass open yacht sector. The Pershing range stands out for its superior performance, constantly researched style, top quality materials and painstakingly designed interiors offering ultimate comfort. Advanced construction methods, powerful engines reaching 7400 MHP and the use of surface propellers, hydrojets and gas turbines all combine to give Pershing yachts a distinctively sporting trim and peak speeds of up to 52 knots.

The new shipyard.

The new Pershing shipyard at Mondolfo, designed by the architect Sandro Sartini was completed in 2004 after an investment of 12 million euros. The complex covers an area of 53 thousand square metres and houses the production of the brand s entire range. It is divided into three buildings expertly interconnected with an efficient, modern layout that optimizes all the various production processes.

Where they plan?

The first building houses the management, administration and design offices. Built according to a strict principle of marrying design to functionality, the structure utilises soothing water courses and natural light as well as juxtaposing steel, cement and glass to form an architectural statement of the company s philosophy.

Where they build?

The remaining two buildings are dedicated to production. The first, measuring 6500 square metre, is where the 46  to 115  yachts are fitted out, whereas the second, measuring 6800 square metre,is where the superstructures are built. All the plants and machinery installed use environmentally friendly construction techniques, such as the computerizedfibreglass cutting system and the vacuum hull moulding process. The paint shed, housed in another structure measuring 500 square metre also guarantees top quality standards, as well as being time-efficient and considerably reducing emissions into the air.

A highly communicative brand.

Pershing has always paid special attention to brand communications and promotions. Over the years the company has developed an image that is increasingly sleek, modern, and aimed at a public that goes way beyond the boundaries of the yachting sector. The current communication project, summed up in the claim  Moving Idea , promotes a new, wide-reaching and aspirational concept through a refined, diversified and carefully structured campaign focusing on the brand s dynamic, innovative and creative qualities.

The Pershing events calendar has also recently been intensified by the addition of an exciting new initiative. Alongside Prime Performance, the spectacular annual happening at which the company unveils its latest new and plans, the shipyard has now added the Pershing Sea Show, an event that tours exclusive marinas in various Mediterranean countries. This year s first edition of this very special show presented the Pershing 72  with all its exciting features and innovations in a series of prestigious and original settings.
